Privacy Policy

WebSorted helps local businesses get their website, enquiries, reviews and Google Business Profile basics in one place. This policy explains the data we use to do that.

What we collect

  • Business contact details such as name, phone number, email address, service areas, opening hours and address.
  • Website and preview content, including services, photos, generated copy, enquiry forms and review links.
  • Account, checkout and support information needed to provide the service and respond to requests.
  • Google Business Profile connection data when you or an authorised WebSorted account connects Google, including OAuth tokens and listing status returned by Google.

How we use it

  • To create, host and maintain your WebSorted website and customer dashboard.
  • To sync saved business details to Google Business Profile where Google allows it, including website URL, phone number, address, service summary, category, opening hours and verification status.
  • To process payments, send service emails, route enquiries, prepare review tools and provide ongoing support.
  • To improve reliability, prevent misuse and understand which parts of the service are working.

Google Business Profile data

  • We only request Google access needed to manage business listing information for the WebSorted service.
  • We use Google data to show listing status, sync business details, retrieve profile/review links and surface any verification steps inside WebSorted.
  • We do not sell Google user data. Access can be revoked from your Google Account permissions at any time.
  • Some Google actions, especially business verification, may still require an owner-approved method or code because Google controls those checks.

Sharing and storage

  • We share data with service providers that help us run WebSorted, such as hosting, database, email, payment and AI-generation providers.
  • We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve issues and maintain records.
  • We protect tokens and operational credentials as private server-side data and do not commit them to code repositories.

Your choices

  • You can ask us to correct, export or delete your information where the law allows.
  • You can disconnect Google access from your Google Account permissions, though this may stop automated listing updates.
  • You can contact us at billypaulmason@gmail.com about privacy questions or account changes.
